In this context no news is not good news. I believe JMS may have jumped the gun by letting us know that there were plans for a B5 movie. But that just seems to be the way of things when B5 is in the equation. It is becoming increasingly clear that these TMoS plans may not have been finalized...

My odds of TMoS happening are now at 60%.

So, there has not been any reply from JMS to requests for info about TMoS? Right now my intution tells me the chance of this thing still going forward is at 70%

I think it is a bad sign, if only because B5 related projects seem to have about as much luck as a turkey on thangsgiving. I am skeptical that this project will come to pass. Or perhaps the 3rd time is the charm. Although If I had money to wager I would not put it on this project.

You know, as I read this JMS post I had to laugh. With every line from his post I kept on hearing the voice of the "Comic Book Guy" on the Simpsons. Yes, JMS sounds that petty. It is kind of pathetic. Worst lie about TV stuff ever (what a joke)

I believe that this is the only way any new B5 project can generate a profit. I doubt highly a theatrical movie. The market will not support such a project. Also the DVD sales provide a solid consumer base for a direct to DVD project.
