Jeremiah news

New interesting reading at MGM site:

Press tour transcript - http://stage.mgm.com/scifi/02feb/press_tour.html
JMS Interview - http://stage.mgm.com/scifi/02feb/strac.html

Quite a big budget...how is it compared to the other sci-fi shows? Is 27 million for 20 episode good? It seems to be double of B5 budget but B5 was low-budget series

Looks like its a good show

I hope it scores great ratings

Heh, I posted that information in the Latest on Jeremiah thread.

Anyway, maybe someone with more familiarity with TV budgets can speak with more authority but it is my impression that premium cable shows cost a lot more than other shows in general. One thing is for sure is that it is definitely the biggest production (cost and scale) that JMS has ever worked on.

As for ratings, I hope they are good as well and I think they stand a fairly good chance of making it since they are slated to follow Stargate.
