Certainly can't hurt.

By the time we get new eps of Rangers and Crusade, Bonnie Hammer and I will be on a first name basis.

Well, mine went into the mail 45 minutes ago:

March 3, 2002

Ms. Bonnie Hammer, President
The Sci-Fi Channel

New York, NY 10020-1513

Dear Ms. Hammer:

The Crusade reruns were supposed to be airing again starting March 26th at 1PM. Yesterday, I re-checked the Sci-Fi Schedulebot ( http://www.scifi.com/schedulebot/ ) and Crusade is now missing, nowhere to be found. What's going on?

Lots of people at:

1. the Crusade Discussion Forum at B5LR.COM ( http://www.b5lr.com/ubbcgi/Ultimate.cgi ),

2. <font color=blue>rec.arts.sf.tv.babylon5.moderated</font> (the Usenet Newsgroup dedicated to Babylon 5, which can be reached by email at <font color=blue>b5mod@deepthot.org</font> ),

3. Sci-Fi's B5 BBoard ( http://www.scifi.com/bboard/browse.cgi/1/5/1957 ), and

4. Sci-Fi's Rangers BBoard ( http://www.scifi.com/bboard/browse.cgi/1/5/2414 )

...want to know. Guess I'll have to take down the flyers I put up advertising the 3/26 date. By the way, look what I got published in TV Guide (the large issue, 2/23-3/1, p.37 bottom center):

That was my initial reaction, and why I said 'not good.' However it may be a good thing, there isnt any way to know. Sci-Fi paid for those episodes, so why wouldnt they run them? Perhaps they just had something else they wanted to run there instead. There are a few possibilities, but it also could mean nothing.

KoshN, HTML is off in this forum - you can always check this if you look left to the posting box.

And to get back on topic... well, this sucks indeed, to have it on the schedule and then see it disappear. Then again, look at the bright side - thanks to SciFi, you've seen all of Crusade already a couple of times within the last few months!

I thought that if UBB was ON, it was sort of like a superset of the HTML, and so the HTML would work too. Never considered that the HTML would be OFF in some forums and ON in others.

No, UBB code is a way of restricting the use of HTML. Certain HTML codes are, in effect, used on the boards, but they cannot be entered directly. Only a UBB code can generate the desired effect. This lets the webmaster control what does and does not get used on his/her board, and prevents people posting bandwidth hogging graphics and doing other things with unrestricted HTML that can cause problems. UBB is enabled *instead* of HTML for exactly these reasons.

Regards,

Joe

Aha! Thanks /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif

If HTML was off and UBB was on, I just wish it was that way across all the forums.
