• The new B5TV.COM is here. We've replaced our 16 year old software with flashy new XenForo install. Registration is open again. Password resets will work again. More info here.

As you may know, I vet new registrations due to the high amount of spam. I just ask why they want to join. Many don't pass the gauntlet of that single question – which amazingly causes many spammers to stumble with answers like "I want to chats" or just pasting their spam as the answer.

So I thought I should directly welcome new members that have joined us, and occasionally share a bit of non-sensitive info.

Welcome Kaduflyer who just joined us and said they're a fan of Byron. Perhaps a reason to decline the admission, but I will try not to judge them... they're from "MA" which I assume is Massachusetts in the US.

And welcome Skiffy who is a fellow Brit who is retired and wants to help keep B5 alive - here's to that.

Thank you Antony! Here's a potted list of whoo I am in relation to B5:

Saw The Gathering on first release and loved it (what a breath of fresh air).
Loved the entire series though I haven't seen much of the estended universe (Crusade etc).
Retired now but was a 3d modeller / animator by trade - and began with Lightwave.
Love all behind-the-scenes and production type material. Have worked in a studio complex.
Now find myself with more time (kids are grown) to indulge in interests like B5.
Followed the career of Ron Thornton from his start on Blake's Seven through to Foundation Imaging.
Create scratch-built models (physical and CG) for fun.

I'm happy to be here and have a few ideas on what I might want to pursue as a B5 interest - more on that in a dedicated thread later. :)

Oh, and my name comes from the word 'Sci-Fi'. Skiffy!
