Replacing a Star Trek Disk

Hi All,

I did a stupid thing and put a disk in the DVD player, while another one was still in, and scratched one of my DS9 DVDs from second Season. Is there anyway I can write to Paramount or whoever and ask to buy a replacement disk?

Possibly.

Give one of these a try. Apparently they can help, depending on the quality of the media and depth of the scratch. (I'm assuming its deep if it has killed the DVD).

Didn't "kill" the DVD, persay, but, the episode I was trying to watch (the first mirror episode) is unwatchable for the first 10 minutes.

Is that a repair facility in the UK? I'm in the United states.

(Edit: Oh, I suppose I shoulda clicked the link first, it's a repair Device) I'll check locally to see if we have anything like this, I have a CD that has some problems with a few tracks as well. Thanks

Here's one from Memorex that I have. I haven't tried to fix any dvds with it, but I have had success with some cds. I think it depends on how deep the scratches are since I had others it didn't fix.

If you have access to a Costco store, they are selling season box sets of DS9 for 44.95 USD.
