Region 2 DVD officially Delayed

Mind you, I did always wonder why the release date was 3 weeks ahead of the USA. Perhaps they will now push it all the way back to 4/11.

Or maybe they just want to leave us all dangling for a bit linger.

It is quite normal for release dates to be put back by a month. I am a little surprised that the R1 date has not been put back - there is still time.

This can be a normal project and the production is running late. Having to manufacture an entire season in one go is likely to cause a few problems.

An alternative is that they have craftily changed the date to avoid the release of the Star Trek DVDs. In reality, probably both - they are using the production problems as an excuse to change the date.
