This sucks, I grew up reading this guy as a teenager. He is a big part of my life as other regulars have probably guessed from my previous posts.
For one of the sharpest and finest wits since Douglas Adams to develop an illness like is is absolutely terrible. His output recently has been around 3 books a year.
He did a signing in Cambridge the other day. I skipped it, thinking there would be a chance to go to others, as he is always signing and writing. I hope he keeps going for a while yet.
