Is it not true that the Orcs in Lord Of The Rings were once Elves? Maybe the Hand from Legend Of The Rangers were corrupted members of Lorien's species. I still think the Hand is connected to the realm of Thirdspace. Sure hope JMS will reveal more about the Hand in that long delayed illustrated B5 novel.
