Paul Winfield, the man who portrayed General Franklin on B5, as well as Captain Terrel in Star Trek II, and Darmok on TNG has died at age 62.

Actually his character on TNG was named Captain Dathon... the episode was called "Darmok," I believe... But yeah... tragic.

IIRC, he also played the lead cop in the original Terminator.

Paul Winfield was a fine actor who rarely got roles that were as good as he deserved, even though he had a long career. He had a part in the original Perry Mason in 1957, played in the original Mission Impossible, and Man From Uncle. The movie Sounder would probably be considered his best role. here's his filmography on the IMDb:
