My reliable source informs me that Michael Vejar has signed on to direct the Babylon 5: The Legend of the Rangers telemovie.
Mike's name will be well known to viewers of the B5 franchise, as his directing credits are extensive. As well as directing a number of episodes including "The Geometry of Shadows" and "Messages from Earth", he has also helmed two previous. His first was the acclaimed "In The Beginning", and the second was the more recent "A Call to Arms". He also directed four of the thirteen Crusade episodes.
His sci-fi directing credits outside of the B5 franchise span a number of shows including all three modern-day Star Treks, The X-Files, Lois and Clark and Quantum Leap.
Principal photography begins on Monday May 14.
