Subject: JMS Gathering Invitations Sent and Syndicate Call.

Our booking is in. We have a capacity of 240 people. I am going ahead
and assuming that we will get our venue because when the booking was
submitted, our SFU contact had been informed that the venue was
available for the requested time.
The official Event time will be Sunday, May 27th, 2001 - 5:30 PM to 9:30
PM. Venue is Simon Fraser University, room AQ 3182.
At this time, I request all people wishing to attend the Gathering send
a note to mailto:nw-b5@iname.com clearly stating they are attending and
how many guests you will be bringing. All responses must be in no later
that Midnight, Wednesday, May 16th, 2001. Prebooked seating at the
Gathering will not be held past 5:15 PM the day of the Gathering. That
means you will have to be there early. So leave plenty of time for
parking and locating the rooms.
We are going with this format to keep a strict control on numbers and
attendance. If by next Thursday, there is capacity remaining, we will
open up that seating to the public provided they contact me by phone or
email.
Exisiting syndicate members do not need to respond as they are already
counted. We are still looking for people to be part of the sponsoring
syndicate.
As usual, once we get closer to the time of the event, I will post urls
for maps and comprehensive directions on how to get there.
