Rising exposing my ignorance.
1)What are other B5 boards?
2)I've seen a few quote posts of JMS, where are you reading them? Where can I post a question?

Jms posts to rec.arts.sf.tv.babylon5.moderated, which is a Usenet newsgroup, not a web board. Newsgroups are best accessed though a newsreader (Outlook or Netscape will do as a start) and a news server (you'll have to see if your internet provider has one, or sign up with a free one like http://news.cis.dfn.de/ or http://pubnews.netcom.net.uk/).

There are however a few websites that can do this for you, like Newsranger and Google Groups, but these are generally slower and more cumbersome than a true newsreader.

Jms' posts to the groups are archived at jmsnews.com.

Thanks a lot

You can also log on to:
http://www.jmsnews.com/

This site copies a lot of JMS posts from the newsgroups and archives them. Only JMS side of the conversation, though, except for what he quotes in his posts to make it clear which messages he is replying to.

It's a good place to look if you want to find things that he posted several months ago that might be referenced here.

Thanks for the thread. Now that I have been somewhat demoted (IMHO) at my job, I will have loads of time to be online. I will have a good time with my scifi.com membership and everything else i signed up for today.

Another little thing I forgot about the moderated group is that you have to post with a valid email adress. You'll be sent an agreement you have to "sign" and return before the moderation software will allow you to post.

If you use a fake adress, you wont get the agreement, and all your posts will simply be rejected automatically.

There are various ways to read JMS newsgroup posts as explained above. However, I (and probably many others) subscribe to a mailing list that sends out a copy of JMS's newsgroup posts along with the copy of the post he is replying to. I love it and you can find out how to subscribe along with the archives of all of his posts (back to Oct of 1995) by visiting:

B5JMS Newsgroup Posts Mailing List

Using this mailing list's archives along with jmsnews.com will give you more information than you ever wanted to know (hopefully!) about what JMS says publically.

Unfortunately, that mailing list is announcement only and you will have to find your own way to access the newsgroup. Some great tips are already explained above.
