HYPERION TYPE HEAVY CRUISER

They both look like boxes with engines... a bit similar, a bit different. The ST:TOS ships resembles a submarine in design (except for the brick-like thing in the middle), the Hyperion isn't much better either...

Both have a "cut here" line painted on the section before the engines - so an attacker would know exactly where to shoot...

They both have a resemblance to sea-going vessels, especially submarines. But the two themselves are fairly different.
