Desperate Housewives fans (or not) I need you

If you are a Desperate Housewives fan, great.

If not, then I can still use you.

I am working on a new website. By working on, I don't mean it's mine but I will be writing for it. And it's a Desperate Housewives site!

It will probably launch Sunday, but I'd love it if any of you could come over there on Saturday (URL to be provided) and help get the forum going, populate it with stuff so that when the launch comes on Sunday it doesn't feel empty when people arrive!

I'd really appreciate your help in getting it going. However, I don't want it to look like a B5 invasion which may put new people off. To that end, please be as... how can I put this... non-cliquey as possible? Any help in starting open topics that encourage discussion, things about DH, Star Wars, the internet... whatever. We just want to get it off the ground.

That's annoying. Based solely on people talking about it on this message board, I started watching it with a housemate of mine and we have been addicted to it. However, I can only access the internet when I am in the office and I don't plan on coming in over the weekend. Will be happy to come over to the new board next week, but that isn't really helping with your request.

Pobman, your visits will be welcome whenever. We have to keep things going beyond launch, particularly to reach "critical mass". So come whenver you can.

The GetDesperate fan site quoted Desperate Housewives cast member James Denton (Mike Delfino) saying that the cast will be recalled from summer hiatus early as ABC wants to do more episodes than originally planned.
