There aren't any Crusade books, and there won't be in the immediate future. JMS has made it clear that his preferred way of telling the story would be to continue the series on television. Barring that he'd like to wrap up some of the plot threads in the context of a Rangers series. If that isn't possible he'd consider a TV movie or two (if Sci-Fi is interested) and only then would he give any thought to telling the story in book form. At which point he'd have to sit down and either write the book(s) himself or write an outline for another writer to work from. And he isn't close to doing either.

Until he knows the fate of Rangers, and then sees if that show can do well enough to tempt Sci-Fi to revive Crusade he isn't even going to think about doing any books. And it may be months before he even finds out what is going to happen with Rangers.

Regards,

Joe

Here's a list of the current books and short stories (no comics, mainly novels and short stories).

"The Passing of the Technomages" series involves Galen.

I'm reading through the first book now, "Casting Shadows".

That's the closest I can think of to a "Crusade" book. But I think Galen will be the only "Crusade" character in it.

And Alwyn, although he only made one appearance in Crusade.

Possible spoiler from later in the TM books:

<table bgcolor=black><tr><td bgcolor=black><font size=1 color=white>Spoiler:</font></td></tr><tr><td><font size=2 color=black>And of course, Gideon gets a couple of mentions, with Galen's rescuing of Gideon given a little more detail.</font></td></tr></table>

But the technomage books don't reach Crusade's timeline, so they aren't directly involved with the Crusade events.

You know, it's pretty bad when a Vorlon has to tell a Mage about Crusade books! You mages are so easily stymied.
