Claudia\'s new scifi Britcom

According to SFX Magazine, Claudia Christian has signed up to star in Star Hyke for Bravo, a digital channel. It is reported as a six-part series that "has homages to classic Trek episodes" and is described as "Star Trek done in the style of Airplane!" Filming is set for late sping and early summer for an autumn screening.

If it's anything like Red Dwarf or Hitchiker, I'm sold.

I am not familiar with the channel, though. The US has a cable channel called Bravo, but the article doesn't indicate any affiliation.

I believe that UK and US Bravo have the same owner. From the locations UK Bravo's programs reboadcast on FTN are obviously filmed in the UK.

It sounds like its gonna be porn to me. Sorry but Bravo like showing titties aimed at geeky 15-35 years olds, this sounds lkes it gonna be a crappy Red Dwarf ripoff tity show.

But then again it involves CC so that doesnt sound bad.

The series is going to be on one of the Sky channels....I think anything with Claudia in it will Rock!!! I can't wait to see her perform again...One of the most talented actors and one of the most beautiful...

And that's even assuming that Ivanova will actually be in the movie, which is something that unless I've missed some announcment we don't know yet.

The press release also said filming in Spring (now) and Summer (soon) for an Autumn release. I doubt TMoS would start filming or whatever until late summer at least if it hasn't even been announced yet.

You know, that's an interesting perspective on the entire situation. Hollywood is kind of going through it's big let-down period like all of the online stores went through some years ago.

"The Business" was never an easy one to make a living in. Sounds like it is a heck of a lot tougher, now. :(
