As for reprinting whole articles, yes. Excerpts are considered fine, but in case of a whole article, the authour might feel annoyed due to copyright issues.

A decent review, but I can't help but wonder if he meant a trifle pretentious, not portentous. I don't see anything wrong with being portentous. I didn't think it was pretentious either, though.
