Yes the eyes teared. I was one of the ones who came in late. Watched one of the first seasons eps but it did not hook me. Saw the first episode of the the second season and was kind of confused. Didn't watch it again until the fourth season when I got hooked since I watched more then one...

Believe it or not they were renewed for three more years after the second season. I guess only SciFi pulls the rug after it makes promises. But it figures the good stuff (Farscape) gets pulled and the bad stuff stays. :mad:

DVDPlanet.com just listed the set for preorder. Sorry but I get better service from them then Amazon, so I always order from them. I had the Star Wars DVD set last Friday amd got the B5 Movie Set 2 days before official release. ;)

At the time the changes were made there was talk that Majel was not happy with what was going on and was going to leave the show as well. I am not sure what the whole story was, I stopped paying attention to the show at that point. Any time I happen to see some of it, I'm glad that I stopped.

I received notice on the 12th that my copy had shipped and the movie set showed up today in the mail. I guess that control of the release date is not being handled very well. But I'm glad I got it early. :D :D :D :D :D

Sci-Fi, USA and a few other station did run ads for the later seasons. They were run quite frequently starting about two weeks before release. I got notice that my set was mailed out yesterday. :D

There was a lot of dislike for Galactica 1980 right from the start, the original had a large following and when it was cancelled the outcry from the fans and the fact it was very high in the ratings caused the network to reconsider. They tried to bring it back with about half the budget. Here...

Got my set saturday in the mail all disks were in their hubs. I only got to look at the first episode but the transfer looked really good, best of the entire set. :)
