Straight up: Are we ever going to have a Babylon 5 spin-off series that lasts as long as JMS intends it to? I want to know because everyone mopes about Crusade and Rangers, and I want to know if this place has any hope left. I want to know if this Forum has any hope left.

"Gemini" and "Ashes" show that Egan is improving from his "The Bag" days, but I'd still take JMS anyday. And I would really love to see more JMS scripts. As for Egan's best, I still prefer "Honor Among Thieves'" over anything else. You are right though, Recoil, Egan is settling in.

Unintentionally, the moral of the story is that Babylon 5 wasn't meant to have spin-offs. Genius once is genius eternal.

Recoil is right. During the movie marathon they should've done some advertising for Babylon 5, but I didn't see any promos. Scifi also used to put a few promos on during the graveyard shift, but I haven't seen any of those either.
