We watched the original for the first time last year. That was surprisingly fun, and it was a lot better than I thought it would be.

It was indeed. Some friends and I had a system of mailing VHS-tapes back and forth across the country so everyone got a chance to see all episodes.

I think it was the UK ones we got here. I still got The Gathering VHS though. That original version seems hard to find these days. So I'm keeping that one :)

It is great fun to see the old VHS'es again. I got rid of mine when we had to move apartment and downsize somewhat. But colour me surprised! I've had many of the seasons on VHS, but always bought them second had so I never had any idea that they came with those great collectors photos.

Being very new to the forum I had no idea there had been a crash. At my first visit I was surprised that there were so few threads in a forum that have been around for a while. I figured there had been a purge of inactive threads or something similar. When did B5TV go online by the way?

Yes there is. I've never looked to closely but I know there is a active community that uses some kind of digital platform/simulator to play the B5 ccg.

I wonder how that reasoning fits with Mongoose having the licence to make the B5 roleplaying game and the miniature ship combat game A Call to Arms. If I recall correctly they sold very well.
