If you had to choose....

Jomar

Beyond the rim
There is a very strong fan base for continuing Crusade and an equally vocal group who are yearning for the B5LR movie to become a full-fledged series about the Rangers.

So, if you had to choose one or the other which would you choose?

My own choice is for a series about the Rangers.

How about you?

I'll keep track and keep you posted if enough people vote in this little poll.

Rangers.... If only to keep Dylan Neal away from Dawson's Creek... I feel for you 'bro.

The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.

I want both stories and all the characters...

The form is less important to me than those elements.

In other words, I won't choose, I want it all...

Agreed.

But if forced to choose, I would want Crusade.

It's personal, I know.

They're both tempting - but I'd go for LotR to be primarily its own story, rather than a combination of the two. That doesn't mean that LotR should not touch on the Drakh story at all, or that the Excalibur and her crew shouldn't appear - I imagine the possibility of one or two *great* crossovers exists!

Crusade... hands down! no doubt about it!
i guess youve noticed im a bit of a fanatic about Crusade!

though i dont know why if there is series... we couldnt see both... the stories do entertwien at times since the Rangers were also being used to help find a cure.

I'd rather, much rather have both... but if someone absolutely forced me to choose, I think I'd go with Legend of the Rangers. The unknown has its charm...

But I would very much like to see Crusade as well. And the story - the whole arc of it - resolved.

I would much rather have a series about the adventures of Jinxo.

Crusade for the simple fact that I am a major Peter Woodward fan. Anyone see him in A.I.? or the History Channel Special on Egypt? One of the greatest actors I have ever seen.

Crusade, but a better Crusade. Even JMS now admits it wasn't his best work. I want the story, the characters and the actors (especially Gary Cole as Gideon

) but with better scripts and music!

No, I don't recall seeing him in A.I.. What part did you think he played? I'm pretty sure his website would have mentioned it if PW were in that movie.

Perhaps you're thinking of last summer's The Patriot in which he played General O'Hara?

And the Egypt special was excellent enough to be nominated for an Emmy.

PW went on another shoot this spring for a special on Masada. No airing date known as yet.

As you may have gathered at this point, I think he's a terrific actor as well.

Rangers.

We've already seen, heard, read, and speculated some of Crusade, enough so that we can appreciate it and comprehend the gist of it without seeing it completed. Better to have a completely new whole with all the potential in the world than to finish a tampered, flawed piece of a whole [tampered and flawed thanks only to TNT].

i ve been thinkin... just because the pilot is before Crusade starts...

that doesnt mean that when the series starts up that a few years couldnt pass and both series take place in the same time... that way wed all be happy and either have two incredible series...

or perhaps have a series unlike anything weve ever seen!!!

I can't really say which I'd prefer. I've only seen Crusade, which I enjoyed.

Meaning no disrespect to any cast and crew that might be lurking (Hi!

), there is a possibility I won't like Rangers. Highly doubtful, but it could happen.

If forced to chose between Crusade or the unknown, I'd go with Crusade. There were 3 or four episodes I didn't like, but I enjoyed the characters and the overall feel of the series.

Still looking for both, down the line...

To bring you up to date. For those who voted for one or the other it's an even split, 5 for Rangers and 5 for Crusade.

One person wants both which isn't a vote.
One person wants Jinxo - not a vote
one person appears to want both series in one series

If any more votes come along, please stick to Rangers OR Crusade. The others don't count

What are those Earth creatures called? Feathers, long bill, webbed feet .. go 'quack'?"

"Cats."

"Cats. I'm being nibbled to death by cats."

I would like to have seen Crusade finished but I'm looking forward to the Rangers, so my vote goes to the Rangers.

I'll have to go with Eye on this one and say Jinxo. Definitely Jinxo.

Sheridan: Are you trying to cheer me up?
Ivanova: No sir, wouldn't dream of it.
Sheridan: Good, I hate being cheered up. It's depressing.
Ivanova: So in that case we're all going to die horrible, painful, lingering deaths.
Sheridan: Thank you, I feel so much better now.
