Theodore Bikel has died at age 91. He played Ranger Lanonn in 'In the Beginning,' as well as Rabbi Koslov in 'TKO'. I loved the character of Lanonn, an ignored and ridiculed figure who never gave up on his cause. I think he was the only one who showed how outcast and peripheral the life of a Ranger was.
Mr. Bikel also starred in Fiddler on the Roof, which I never saw.
