    B5 Animated Movie

Sorry it's been a rough week! We should actually be getting the trailer this coming week. JMS said that the Big Announcement with trailer and info on how & when it'll be available will be made at mid-month. If the SDCC blurb for JMS is accurate, the movie may actually premier there.

    B5 Animated Movie

It's commonly thought from thins JMS has posted online and in the script books, that the division that did B5 was seen as an upstart department. Which only makes sense when you add in the (at least then) WB culture of pitting their departments *against* each other rather than cooperating with...

    B5 Animated Movie

Word is (albeit a while back before Certain Exec Changes at WB) is that Big Finish DID try to get the rights to do audio dramas and they were told that no licenses were being granted. Sigh...

    B5 Animated Movie

Yes, JMS seemed to think that the announcement would be at SDCC and that it would be available shortly after. That seems to have changed recently. I'd kind of hoped that there was a chance that there'd be a trailer at Phoenix Fan Fusion (June 2-4) but I guess that's out. Drat!

    B5 Animated Movie

JMS just tweeted that the info and trailer for Babylon 5: The Road Home will come out in mid-June: https://twitter.com/straczynski/status/1657065095703285761 Woo-hoo!

    B5 Animated Movie

Contrary to what many say, the only character that JMS has said that he'd never recast is Andreas/G'Kar. And I'd be perfectly fine with him changing his mind about that, really. Particularly for the reimagining. What I'm *adamantly* opposed to is any attempt at using AI to voice any of the...

    New logo

Note that he's made it very clear that, while there was positive movement on the re-imagining, that's all on hold pending the probably Writer's strike. This new logo has to do with a completed project that he expected to announce at San Diego Comic-Con but is now apparently going to be able to...

    A quick question about souls

Are you sure he wasn't talking about the "we are star stuff" conversation that Delenn had with Sheridan? That's the nearest thing I can think of.

    A quick question about souls

Perhaps the largest mention would be the Minbari discovering that Sinclair and a Minbari soul as revealed by the Triluminary. Also, Delenn & Lennier tell Brother Edward in 'Passing through Gethsemane' how they believe the soul is a 'nonlocalized phenomenon' or piece of the universe seeking meaning.

All Alone in the Night question

Here's a bit of what JMS said in the script book for this episode: In the outline published in Volume 15, there was no mention of the Streib, but keep in mind that it covered ten years in less than (IIRC) ten pages. That said, when it came to the Wind Swords, the outline DID have B4 going to...

    SECRET B5 project - completed

JMS said all of the main cast would be in the secret project and when asked about Tracy Scoggins, he wrote, "What part of "all means all" keeps drying up on the frying pan?" https://twitter.com/straczynski/status/1565567508916056064

    Peter David Hospitalized

Sad to report that Peter David, writer of "Soul Mates" and "There All the Honor Lies" is having serious medical issues including a series of small strokes and a mild heart attack - if there's any such thing as 'small' or 'minor' in such cases. A GoFundMe has been set up here...
