The Road Home review thread (contains spoilers)

As far as I'm concerned, JMS isn't likely to have needed to be told that both fan service and accessibility to new viewers would be necessary. Why would he, since it's obvious if we're to see any more of these? I do think there might have been more time taken to see things from Delenn's...

The Road Home review thread (contains spoilers)

Thanks for the confirmation about Anna. Since I don't have a BluRay player, I'm not likely to be able to see the commentaries or featurette soon. Yours is the first 'lukewarm' review I've seen, but if you don't care for JMS' humor, that makes sense. Not sure what expectations of a 78-minute...

The Road Home review thread (contains spoilers)

I get that you're not knocking it. And after posting, I started thinking that I did wish we'd been able to see even a little more of Delenn's determination/quest to find Sheridan. It was kind of one-sided. I think it's important to remember that the B5 stories and subtexts built on...

The Road Home review thread (contains spoilers)

Some friends and I (who saw it at Comic-Con) were talking about that and wondered whether he'd even married Anna in that ficton. Even so, our viewpoint Sheridan had, so maybe he was just disconcerted by jumping and the atmosphere (that's my story... ;-) ). Love did conquer all in the...

    B5 Animated Movie

(alsoo posted at JMSnews) Very quick non-spoiler reation to The Road Home. It. Is. AMAZING! The best way I can put it is that it does feel like coming home. There's humor you'll recognize, touching moments and a true Annoyance of Zathrii. More probably after I get home but I really very much...

Ha, no, those are the only two, and they reside next to my bed. Imagine (or maybe best not) somebody breaking in and having a fat old lady come at them with a sword and pointy stick! :ROFLMAO:

While I don't actually make a point (no pun intended) of collecting B5 weapons, I was just reminded that I've got this item of Dureena Nafeel's weaponry. It was seen in 'A Call to Arms' when she unloaded all those weapons in Customs. It's *very* sharp on one end and quite heavy on the blunt end.

There's a great indication that it's an alternate reality, huh? Shades of the Harlan-voiced AI in "Ceremonies of Light and Dark".

My collection isn't collectables in the usual meaning. I've got a complete collection of all of the (well, until "The Road Home", at least) scripts, most set-used and none bootleg. Also I've got some extremely cool (to me, at least) props and costumes, including Excalibur from "A Late Delivery...

    B5 Animated Movie

Since it seems the roadblock is gone, all somebody needs to do is persuade a publisher to get a license and commission JMS and/or other writers to do so. It's a substantial initial investment for a 13-episode 25-year-old show, though.
