SiL aired on 1 January 1999 on T4. I remember it well (I even remember the stupid introduction from the T4 presenters).

It does make you think of a Vorlon, especially as the name is "Alien" and the font is very Vorlon-esque.

A new story, bringing together the old actors, made 10 years after the end of the series, using modern CG to create a new version of the old sets, but ultimately unsatisfying due to a questionable script. Reminds me of something else...can't quite think what... ;)

I have a feeling this show is going to end with a time-travel/orobourus twist. My guess is Adama et al with go through the black hole and get zapped back thousands of years to become the original inhabitants of Kobol.
