B5:TLT - Show Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Actually I don't think so. By finishing a post with asking people not to reply as you're not going to read any responses, that comes across as fairly rude, to me. It's basically saying "here's my opinion, but I don't care for yours." Forums should be for discussion, not proclamations.

B5:TLT - Show Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Wow, legend. I disagree with you on so many points there I don't know where to start, other than to say rather than it having no replay value, I personally cannot wait to watch it again (first viewing last night). I agree with vacantlook above on the ambiguity over this 'demonic' possession...

    B5:TLT Actual DISCUSSION Thread

The guy who wrote the review with the '6 discs' figure in it also posted it on imdb. I asked him where he got it from, and he never responded.

B5:TLT - Show Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

What, no love for Keffer? :D Or Sinclair, on a slightly more serious note. The thing about the credits is, it seems pretty defined by grouping characters by planet. Including any more humans would have seriously cluttered that first shot of Earth. It would be interesting to see what would be...

    B5:TLT Actual DISCUSSION Thread

More to the point, why *should* it? I mean, I'd certainly like that to be the case and it has happened on occasion for me with things ordered from Amazon.co.uk, but there's nothing on Amazon that I've seen that characterises a pre-order in this way.

    Tell that to Jericho fans.

    B5:TLT Actual DISCUSSION Thread

Some of us still can't even get Freeview... Doesn't bother me overmuch, I watch mostly DVDs and barely any television at all these days. Mind you, when I move later in the year the odds are pretty slim I'll move to one of the other few areas of the country that still can't get Freeview.

    B5:TLT Actual DISCUSSION Thread

I feel much the same way, DangerousApple, although far worse are the masses of people who actually *buy* downloaded pirate copies. That one just boggles my mind. The people who don't just download stuff for free but then also have the gall to charge others for it (often in terrible quality) just...

    B5 Books for Sale!

Is now a good time to point out (once again) that I spent just over £100 on Centauri Prime book 3 alone in a moment of eBay madness? Excuse me while I cry onto my desk. :( :D

    TLT CGI; hmmm.

Can I just point out in case it's not clear that wanting B5 to look as good as it possibly can doesn't mean the eye candy is the *reason* I (as someone on the 'pro' side of this discussion) like it? I think it's safe to say that we *all* like it for the story, but I don't see anything wrong in...

    TLT CGI; hmmm.

I personally would love to see this done. Partly to remove the distracting element of the low-res space scenes, but mostly to get rid of the horribly compromised composite shots, and see them more like what was always intended. It's been discussed before, that te eventual release of B5 in HD...

    Fan Films

Didn't he explain it in one of the script books or somewhere as being that WB has to consult with him on any new B5 project they're considering, although afterwards they'd be totally free (should they so desire, which luckily so far they haven't) to ignore everything he had to say on it and do...

    Movies and the Season

My personal recommendation is to watch them largely in the order they were made: So In the Beginning and Thridspace between Seasons 4 and 5. After Season 5, I switch to saying chronological order: River of Souls Legend of the Rangers A Call to Arms followed by Crusade.

    Is JMS a Scientologist?

I'm not sure anyone read my previous post, but never mind, lets try again with another point: Reading that report Shabaz posted, it seems to me that the German establishment could be so dead set against the Scientologists *BECAUSE* of the Nazi party. If you read that report, they describe the...

This particular gem of ignorant mouthing off has me seeing red, by the way.

    Is JMS a Scientologist?

The big problem with discussions like this is that people are lumping Scientology together with religions in general and broadening the issue too much. I'm an atheist but don't care to get involved in debate about religion. But if you read the German government report that Shabaz posted (it's...
