I've often wondered the same thing myself. Maybe it is just down to budget - it probably costs a fair bit of time & money to do that effect :p I also agree that they were the least convincing aliens that the makeup guys created. I was always impressed by their prosthetics (especially the Narn)...

Although I agree with others that ALL episodes are important in some way, your list is a good one. However, I also think that Soul Hunter is important since it introduces the whole concept of souls within the B5 universe which is quite important to several aspects of the story.

Re: Marcus Cole I think you only have to be in 7 episodes to appear in the main credits.

Interestingly, my S1 & S2 were fine and I ordered them from Play. I ordered S3 from amazon.co.uk and disks 3 & 4 were loose due to fact that the a bit of the hub had broken off. Maybe the people in the amazon warehouse like a good game of footy ;)

Good post :) This is also mirrored by the fact that that the Humans & Minbari had to work together to defeat the Vorlons & Shadows. It is so great that even after watching so many times, people are still finding more & more in the show.

Well, they seem to play ok on my DVD player - not sure why they didn't play on the PC's where I work. I haven't watched the scratched disks all the way through yet, but fingers crossed they will be ok :o

Well, the good news is that my DVDs arrived here at work this morning :) However, 2 of the discs were loose and one looks like it may not work. but, ever the optimist, I thought I'd try it on my PC, but no joy, NONE of the discs work, even the ones that remained in the case. :( I tried playing...

Forget the exact episodes, but the phrase that goes something like: "he maybe a pain in the butt, but he's our pain in the butt" has been used a few times in B5 & Crusade! And, of course, do not forget: "And so it begins..." spoken by both Kosh & Galen :)

I just hope they don't ruin it. I've read some interviews with the writer and I'm not convinced he is the right choice. He has mentioned a few times about updating the show for a 'modern audience' - to me this suggests romance and relationships, and eventually the show will become a soap...
