I actually listened to Tangerine Dream several years before I got into B5, but it was only recently that I discovered CF was from TD. It was so lonog ago that I had one of there albums (Sorcerer) on vinyl. :eek: My favourite was Near Dark (great movie too) but it sounds a bit dated now!

Indeed. This is one of my favourite eps, and some of the most heart wrenching scenes (for me anyway) were those with the chorus sound (such as when the EA troops breech the station, and when the Churchill rams the other destroyer). Obviously, it's not just the sound that makes the scenes...

I agree totally - Babylon 5 wouldn't be the same without his music. Some of the most moving scenes were made complete by the music (especially Season 3 onwards). Would there have so many tears in SiL if the music wasn't there? I don't think so. Not sure if I know exactly which one 'REQUIEM FOR...

That's unfortunate. I bought my set last year so they must have only recently stopped selling them. I just had a look on amazon.co.uk and you can get the first book second hand. This is probably your best bet. Keep an eye on amazon and Ebay for the other two!

Apart from the kickboxing weapons and some of the dialogue in the earlier parts of the film, I enjoyed watching Rangers. I especially liked the idea of a haunted ship - a lot of scope here which could have been used if a series was made. The Hand also intrigued me - I would have liked to see how...

That really is good news - I really enjoyed the series :) I have been hoping that it get a DVD release but I've not seen it anywhere.

Whether he is not allowed to post because he is too busy, or because WB have told him not to (or both), it must be good since it means that whatever the new B5 project is, it definitely seems to be happening :)

Ah, I didn't realisew the 5 was bigger - that aside, it was a good solution! Glad you are enjoying Season 4 :) As a season, it is my favourite (although some of my favourite eps are from other seasons).

Good point, although the backstory to Wrath of Khan was quite easy to sum up within the film and there is quite a few more gaps to fill with the Teep war, but JMS is a master story teller, so I'm sure he could manage it :)

I think the Telepath War is the preference for most people :D

I would really like to see the telepath war too, but I was just exploring other possibilities. This (and related stories) were the only threads left hanging. The only problem I foresee with this, is that it relies on certain actors being available and willing to play the appropriate characters...
