Re: National Lampoon\'s Christmas Vacation (SE) SPOOOOOOOOON! Oh, sorry. Anyway, is the animated version going to come out on DVD?

Fierce Films: Throne of Blood, Born to Kill

No TCM? Damn, if I didn't have that station, I wouldn't be watching TV at all. Which probably wouldn't be a bad thing....

    Bill Cosby

I think he's possibly more than a little senile. In his speech at the Emmy's, he referred to his dead son like he was still alive. Quite sad, because he was one of the funniest stand-ups in his time.

    Lost in Translation

I haven't seen this one yet. I am looking forward to it for no other reason than to see Murray. I never really appreciated his abilities as an actor until I saw Rushmore. This was a great movie, and he was the best part about it. Then he was in that modernized Hamlet a few years back...

    Charles Bronson dies

I never was a big fan of his. Even the movies he was in that were good, like the Dirty Dozen or The Great Escape.

Gary Cole joins cast of THE WEST WING

Nah, they would have dug up something from Midnight Caller.

    The Anti-Hero

Hmmm, I suppose so. How about William Holden's character from Stalag 17? Sefton would seem to more fit the bill.

    The Anti-Hero

You gotta love Harry Lime from the Third Man. Definitely one of Orsen Welles best roles.

I ordered mine from Amazon. It's on its way right now. Mmmm...Ingrid Bergman.

    Stargate SG-1 Season 8 Confirmed!

My problem with the X-Files was that at the end, it just seemed like one big con. What I mean is at first, it seemed like Chris Carter knew what he was doing; like he had a whole long, complex story planned out. But at the end, at least I think, it came to look like he was just making it all...

    Civil War movies

Re: Civil War movies Personally, I thought it covered too long of a time period. What I loved about Gettysburg/The Killer Angels was the depth of the detail that the story went into. Gods and Generals, at least for me, didn't have the same level of intimacy that the previous work had.

    Jaded movie-goer

If you want to see a decent movie, may I recommend Xi Zao. From the descriptions, it might seem a little hokey. However, it is an excellent film.

    Blackadder

You know, not that I am disagreeing with you guys, because I love the fourth series as well. It's just that most people I know said that they hated that one.

Vivendi Universal Bidding (SciFi Channel Future?)

So you would be bringing back the days of USA Up All Night with Gilbert Gottfried. Ninty minute soft-core porns edited down into forty minutes.

    Stan DARSH

Brain fart. Was that the one where Cartman tricked the kid into eating his parents?

    Stan DARSH

Ah, Lemiwinks. The Gerbil King. That was one of the funniest episodes they have done.
