    Big B5 update from jms!!!

Do you really think jms would read all (11, so far) of these pages? Even if he came to B5TV, I would think he'd stay away from the "Big B5 update fro JMS!!!" entry. :p

    Londo in the movies

"More politically correct" is right! I read the book and thought it was pretty good (but certainly not among Grisham's best works), and saw the movie. It's not about suing a cigarette company as in the book, but a gun manufacturer. Of course, all of the defense team (and the top-level gun...

    Babylon 5 Books

I went to the amazon link the other day, and I think it said only 4 or 5 left, so hurry. Just after that it said more on the may. Today, it looks like they have them. I don't think anyone should panic. ;)

Original Star Wars trilogy on DVD next year?

I agree with Sinclair. There really wasn't much in the special editions that interested me, with the possible exception of the larger look at the spaceport where Obi-Wan, Luke and the droids left Tatooine. I'm particularly irked by the change in the Death Star's explosion at the end of the...

    Stephen Furst in Dream Team

I ordered "The Dream Team" DVD because I remembered that I saw that movie a long time ago, and that I liked it. So, when it arrived, much to my surprise there was Vir on the cover! I'm sure when I had originally watched it years ago, I had no idea who he was. I recommend this movie to others...

    B5 S3 DVD Order - still waiting

I got my sets from totalactionuniverse yesterday. (I ordered two). One had disc five loose, and it has some small scratches. The other one (a gift for someone) I didn't open and I heard no sound when I turned it over, so I think all five discs are well-seated. I watched all of the first disc...

    Open Range

Me, too. I thought Silverado was a great romp.

    Open Range

I agree completely. My boyfriend and I went to see it and really liked it. It just flowed and we didn't notice the time passing. I found I developed empathy with many of the characters, and the scenery (and horses!) were just beautiful. It just 2 1/2 hours I think the movie showed what life...

    Good SF/fantasy read?

I read Piers Anthony's "Macroscope" decades ago, and still pull it out now and then to read again. (It's not a Xanth novel, or a fantasy.) I also liked his trilogy, "Omnivore", "Orn", and "Ox".

    Civil War movies

Re: Civil War movies I like some of KC's movies, but some have been real stinkers. I think I'm one of the few people in the U.S. that actually like "The Postman". I'm also looking forward to "Open Range". Of course, it's got Robert Duvall, and that's a great reason to go see it! :)

JMS at the ComicCom(Sat)..some BIG (vague) news...

Re: JMS at the ComicCom(Sat)..some BIG (vague) new Well, if he was talking to WB about a new visit to the B5 universe, and WB owns the rights to Crusade, what's the problem?

JMS at the ComicCom(Sat)..some BIG (vague) news...

Re: JMS at the ComicCom(Sat)..some BIG (vague) new Perhaps he will incorporate the Crusade story in the new series (please let it happen!), as he was going to do in the LOTR story.

    The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Good grief! Do they think we're that illiterate? hmmm. Are we? :( :o I knew who they all were, but then I went graduated high school in 1967. Do kids actually have to read books these days in school?
