    The long waiting

grumbler: I used to live in MD and watched a public TV station, which I'm sure was named WETA. That's what I was thinking of, at first. ("Why would jms go to a public TV station for SFX?") Then, I realized it had to be something else. :p

    Star Wars prequel bashing

I agree about the Ewoks. As soon as I saw the first one sitting on the log with Leia, I thought, "Oh, no! Not cute teddy bears!?!?!?!"  Almost ruined the whole movie (SW:RotJ) for me. Definitely lost any chance of being my favorite.

    4400 Discussion Thread

I just started watching it, and I think it's very good. So far, I've seen only the pilot, but I've taped the next two hour-long eps. I see that all six hours are going to be broadcast in order on August 8th.

    Star Trek composer dies

How sad. His music made "Hoosiers" one of my favorite all-time movies, and makes my heart swell. Same for ST: First Contact. :(

    JMS on Scifiwire

I thought Gates McFadden (Dr. Crusher) left for season 2 to have a baby. Thought I heard that somewhere, anyway.

    WB announcement due on ...

Seems like jms posts something as soon as TPTB say he can. I don't trust the dates, either. We'll hear something when we do.

    Enterprise: "Countdown"

Re: Enterprise: \"Countdown\" Remember the TOS ep named "Journey to Babel", where we meet Spock's parents? The NCC-1701 Enterprise was taking lots of alien ambassadors (?) to Babel for a conference or something. B&B could have used several of those alien races (they did use the Andorians) in...

    Enterprise: "Countdown"

Re: Enterprise: \"Countdown\" I*I*RC, all we (and the Enterprise crew) got to see were the Romulan ships, not the Romulans themselves. Also, did they know the name of the aliens on the ships? Can't remember. I would encourage those that feel like it and would like to know more about this...

    B5 Custom DVD Cover Art

I downloaded the LOTR-FOTR cover artwork for the theatrical and extended editions, and printed it at work. It fit my 8.5 x 11 paper, but it doesn't look large enough to fit a DVD case. I haven't had any experience in downloading and printing anything like this. Are there particular printer...

    Van Helsing

I agree with LondosHair, I noticed the music, too, and it was wonderful. I also liked seeing David Wenham again (Faramir). He's pretty cute. ;) :D And, he provided the comic relief. Did anyone else think of 'Q' from the 007 movies, when friar Carl was showing van Helsing his inventions...

    DVD Actor Commentaries

Re: Jerry wasn\'t that bad Post by Flounder: I seem to remember that they would go silent in their commentary when Delenn was speaking, and then they laughed and said they did the same thing when Mira was speaking on the set. :D

    TMoS casting guessing game

Personally, I think the new project (film?) could be about almost anything in the B5 universe. I'm sure jms could give a 5-10 minute "history" of B5 at the beginning of the movie, kinda just like LOTR: FOTR had, where the history of the rings, Isildur, Elrond, et al, was shown at the beginning...

    Spot the recurring actors...

Carrie Dobro played Dureena Nafeel in Crusade, and a doctor in B5: Exogenesis.
