    Broken DVD

Well, their mothers always said if they can't say anything nice then they shouldn't say anything at all. If it's still a problem you might want to try ripping the disc and reburning it. The PC could probably read the disk slowly enough to get a good read without the stuttering you would notice...

    Spam, you say?!

EpDis: Midnight On The Firing Line

Rewatched MotFL last night (I'm gonna use the acronym because it makes me seem much more in touch with 'the scene' and whatnot). Like sand through the hourglass, here are the random thoughts of my mind.... Londo seems far too uncontrolled at this point. I get that he's had almost no character...

    EpDis: The Gathering

    >old York Fair enough. I'm not fully committed to justifying Lyta's bit of clunky exposition, but I've done the best that I can. It's the only explanation that doesn't break down to "because it's a show, and the writer was dumb" =] >Sinclair Well, she was hesitant about the entire show and...

    EpDis: The Gathering

    >On the other hand, you'd think she would have done her research before accepting a job at a distant space station :p If you accepted a job in New York, would you bother researching what happened to Old York? =] With varying degrees of success, they started out trying to make B5 seem like a...

    A Babylon 5 Ringtone??

Get a Raspberry Pi ($40 computer), a button, and a speaker. Push the button, play a WAV file, hook up to door.

    EpDis: The Gathering

Just rewatched The Gathering last night (Damn you all, now I'm committed to sacrificing 100+ hours or so of my life to B5... again) On the topic of Kosh getting poisoned, he couldn't have left the suit. Unless I misheard they found the poison residue where it entered the suit, on the back...

EpDis: Midnight On The Firing Line

I can see where you were going with it now. I was going with "magical" in the sense that they didn't even try to put science behind it. For example, jump gates, vaguely sciencey. Ship battles, spiced for television but with an eye for science. Technomages, they say "science did it" in the...

EpDis: Midnight On The Firing Line

I'm due for a rewatch myself so I can't be too specific here, but I seem to remember there being a fair bit of 'magic' (for lack of a better term). The technomages for one, though that's obvious and possibly excusable. Everything fate related. Londo seeing his own death is just an extension...

    X3 Mod - official?

I was skimming JMS' IMDB page and saw "Babylon 5 X3: Terran Conflict (Video Game) (creator) 2010". Is that something he was directly involved in creating? Or does he just get credit as the B5 creator? I've never seen a video game mod on IMDB before.

    EpDis: Thirdspace

Hey, it's the future, terms stick around after they're no longer accurate. There's an entire generation now that has no clue that they're not really dialing their friends on the phone, or filming things with their digital cameras. They're not even rewinding their DVDs to go back to the...

New activity in the B5 universe?

Interesting stuff. (I've been known to apply that label to things that most people would disagree with) $100,000 admission to the JMS Garage Theater, each viewing comes with complimentary broadcast rights of the movie on your network. Ah, I'm sure there are loopholes for somebody to take, but...

    Worst Acting Performance

With this being your first post, I'm going to remember you as Fres Hair 3. Well, that's a remarkably personal question. Usually when you're grooming "down below" you go for an all or nothing approach. I'm not sure which way he went.

    Which storylines disappointed the most?

Ironheart's gift. Obvious reasons. Season 5 telepaths. Fabio-Lite never grabbed me (in the special area), and I never really ended up giving a crap if most of them lived or died. But hey, free mind-sex with Lyta, so they had that going for them. Most of the movies. They'd have been barely...

    Worst Acting Performance

CC's mating dance makes me die a little on the inside. Though I'm willing to admit that I may have more of a problem with the scene than the acting. Nearly any scene in the entire series when they were going for a laugh instead of a smile. Penn and Teller, and every reaction to them.

New activity in the B5 universe?

This is just my own curiosity rather than me thinking I've found the solution that everybody else failed to see so feel free to stop humoring me at any point, but if length is one of the main factors could 2 episodes be combined into a movie? 12 movies per season would be rather awesome. I...

New activity in the B5 universe?

Thanks for the link. I wonder how the contracts from the old days are worded... Could JMS do 5 collections of 22 movies, each 44ish minutes long, released to sites like Netflix?

New activity in the B5 universe?

http://whatculture.com/tv/babylon-5-5-problems-the-new-movie-will-need-to-overcome.php Is this something that could go somewhere, or is it something out of nothing?

    Season 1 hump....

...Sorry. Anyway, when I first started watching B5 'back in the day' it was sometime after season 1 so Sheridan was my first impression, not this Sinclair guy =] It's possible I'm still biased against him from that. I still intend to rewatch Season 1 but haven't found the time/motivation.
