Very enjoyable, I gave this a B. While I wasn't blown away, I was quite excited. Kosh being an asshole in the opening, and the introduction of the White Star were both good to see.

Eh, we kind of do. I interpret it that Bureau 13 becomes less and less of a covert operation, and ultimately becomes part of mainstream earthgov (although by a different name of course).

B. I really dug the haunting aura of the possibility of black ops within Earthgov that hung over the episode.

I B'd this one as well. The "walking stereotypes" as someone correctly put it cracked me up. (Sgt. Plug, I believe the guy's name was.) The ending was pretty strong imo, and dark enough that it is another episode that seperates B5 from many of the "optimistic" sci-fi shows.

I grant this episode a "B" While I wasn't blown away, I was throughly amused and felt the character development and portrayal of all 3 wives was spot on.

A "C" was given. It was entertaining but forgettable.

I did this well. I would've given it a B- had I been presented with some sort of implementation of this big scary monster that was capable of more than A BOOT TO THE FACE.

One of the special features options for Season 2 (I think it's 2) shows the station and explains what each sector is for, I always figured that that was canonical

I gave it a C. It felt rushed and not appropriate planned for in the brilliant way that some other plotlines are foreshadowed... I'm fully aware of the reality of the situation that caused this episode to come to be, but nonetheless I was pretty disappointed with it. Also: I'm pretty sure...

*shrug* JMS was pretty forthcoming as to what he was going to do with Laurel, so I thought that he might have at some point made a similar disclosure for Talia / Lyta.

I gave this an A because in spite of its flaws it fulfilled its primary function masterfully: namely introducing characters and a story arc that holds your attention strongly enough to make you want to come back to the series. Some call it too slow in other places whilst still throwing in too...

I still thought it was pretty painful. If Ivanova had a part in the other story and it was effecting her in some way it would have been more relevent (similar to the way Sheridan's "beauty in the dark" session with Kosh helped him in There All the Honor Lies) It was ok as character development...

So you mean that Talia still had a part to play after the Divided Loyalties episode had she not gone out on a sour note? Perhaps in some kind of Sinclair - esque roll where she is brought in occasionally to be a part of the story when its critical? Had Talia not needed to be written out, would...

Interesting that some people like this. This for me is the only episode of B5 that I would ever rate a failure.
