    EpDis: Thirdspace

We just watched this approximately chronologically where it should be in the S4 story. First off, the special FX are just fucking gorgeous. They really came a long way throughout the series in improving detail and quality of their graphics, and it really shows here. The story itself, though...

    EpDis: Racing Mars

I call this "the sex episode" as there are so many sexual references in this episode it's hard to remember them all... I think there are 4 or 5 in total throughout the different plots. The tension between Garibaldi and Sheridan brings this episode from a C+ to a B-, imo.

    EpDis: Atonement

As I was watching this, and saw the Susan Drazi thing... I was thinking "C" Then the episode went on a little more and I started thinking, ok... Delenn having conflict with her clan... not bad not bad "B" Then we had that huge flashback with Dukat ending in a powerful revelation about...

    EpDis: Epiphanies

    B. It's good but it's not epic. Curious how Bester made no inquisition as to the whereabouts as to his beloved friend Mr. Garibaldi.

    EpDis: The Illusion Of Truth

I granted this a B. And yes, it is incredibly frustrating to watch, especially the 2nd time through.

    Favourite B5 Episode......and Why?

Interludes and Examinations The scene with Kosh and Sheridan in the hallway is quite possibly the most intense thing in all of B5. His death / dream sequence is also incredibly moving.

    Favourite musical score of B5?

Messages from Earth, imo, has the best soundtrack of any episode up to Into the Fire (I haven't gotten past that yet).

    EpDis: Falling Toward Apotheosis

The Vorlon's real name was Ulkesh. -JMS confirmed this and it is quoted in one of the Lurker's Guide pages. -IMDB actually sites Ardwight Chamberlain as Ulkesh for those episodes -The book "To Dream in the City of Sorrows" gives us his real name.

    EpDis: Into The Fire

Heavily philosophical, I am always torn between wanting to see this end in explosions or reason. I suppose we get our explosions with the earth conflict. I would've liked to have seen this as a 2-parter, but after reading the lurker's guide, I've got to agree that more shooting and space...

    EpDis: The Long Night

Another A in a long series of As. Vir surprises us in a wonderful done scene, and the Erickson deal was very well done and somehow caused me to care about a character that was just introduced moments ago. JMS made the right call showing nothing but Sheridan listening to the audio when the...

    EpDis: Falling Toward Apotheosis

I really liked this one for many of the reasons stated above. I'm giving it an A. One question I'm hoping someone hear could answer. While Kosh and Ulkesh formerly had a respect for each other, it's clear to me that Kosh realized that Ulkesh had to be stopped. However, it appears that My...

    EpDis: The Summoning

Very serious and very dark. Lyta scanning Ulkesh was just fucking metal, but what really made this episode stand out were the scenes on Centari prime. A

EpDis: Whatever Happened To Mr Garibaldi?

    A. A heavy and deeply philosophical episode, about one point I just looked at my roomate while watching the show and said, "Wow... everybody is fucked." The episode left me with a lot to think about and now I have some questions about Lorien, which might make it to its own thread by the...

EpDis: The Hour Of The Wolf

    A. I love the chilling scene where Londo puts on the purple coat and goes outside... and at some point during that scene you go "omg... no..." the last hint you get is that high angle shot with Londo looking upward and then we go straight into the vision of shadow ships flying over centari prime.

    Secret content on DVDs?

So I just found the Season 3 outtakes on disk 6 of Season 3. Absolutely hilarious! I went back to find a similar hidden item on Season 1 but there was just a lame promotional teaser. Am I missing something or does S1 not have outtakes? S2 is on loan to a friend of mine, is there any secret...

    EpDis: Z'ha'dum

Heavy and emotional. Just watched it with commentary, yes there was some cheating going on with the intercutting, but it makes the episode work. Can't give this anything but an A.

No cast commentary on the S1 dvd's?

I live in the U.S. - and I don't recall any cast commentary on my Season 1 DVD either.

    EpDis: Shadow Dancing

Gave it an A. One of the few Franklin stories that is enjoyable and well done, and while the space battle felt like it had a few scenes missing (like the Drazi ships)... and though it does feel like the shadow ships get weaker every time we see them, when you consider all the telepaths involved...
