100% agree, would have been really cool to see her in S5. And, yes, the tail end of S5 is a LOT stronger IMHO. Obviously appreciate things were a bit rushed in the set up and you can tell when they level out and find their feet again.

Yeah. I enjoyed Farscape. It had a zany aspect to it that really appealed. The puppets were a marvel to behold and overall it remained entertaining throughout. I also love the body swap episode.

FOR SALE: B5 Script books (Vols 1-15) and complete Echoes series (UK based)

I can definitely keep you in mind Lyta. I don't think Echoes would be too bad to post. Maybe £25ish, 48hrs courier. I am currently speaking to someone who might take everything. But, we'll see if that comes to fruition.

Looney, postage anywhere overseas would be OBSCENE. I had one very interested French buyer and we it was going to be about £200 to ship. So we left that well alone!

FOR SALE: B5 Script books (Vols 1-15) and complete Echoes series (UK based)

Hi folks, I am considering selling my set of THE BABYLON 5 SCRIPTS OF J. MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI , Vol 1-15. UK buyers only please! May consider EU for smaller items. These are the original script books, replete with the long, informative introductions to each script by JMS. Lockdown has hit me...

I totally agree with Jan here. Watch S5 in the intended (airing) order. Don't worry about the films, spins offs, etc for now. IMHO most of the TV Movies are pretty bad and only In the Beginning really stands up as excellent. They're like a fun little bonus if you find yourself craving more...

    WB considering HD update

Who knows if they'll get it done, but seems like a good time when many are restricted in terms of going out and doing 'real world' stuff.

    WB considering HD update

FYI, there's a fan project on Reddit, apparently upscaling the footage to 4k via AI techniques. Still early days. https://www.reddit.com/r/babylon5/comments/g4unx4/the_babylon_5_complete_series_4k_hdr_60fps_ai/ There's already a full HD upconvert available done by a fan, again, check reddit...

YES. S1 is kinda fascinating, because on a first watch it's very easy to lay a lot of scorn on it. But, the second time around you spot all these little easter eggs and bits of foreshadowing that are kinda beautiful. This is kinda inspiring me to maybe do a re-watch, it's been a few years I...

I am totally with you, in that I LOVE the show, but i can also have a damn good laugh at it when its warranted. And there are plenty of unintentional comedy gold moments, from over acting / scenery chewing, to terrible dialogue and/or delivery. Gotta enjoy every aspect. These review have been...

Keep these coming and buy some Ray Bans. -SunBot122 Yeah, G'Kar is weirdly campy in some of the earlier episodes. I like O'Hare but Boxleitner has a more natural delivery and definitely lifted the show. Infection, yikes, that's the episode that made my friend demand we stop watching the show...

Why were space sci fi shows like B5 heavily stigmatized by the mainstream?

THIS. Although, that said, I am really starting to think B5 was a one off. It was a combination of the right people in the right place at the right time. It became more than the sum of its parts because of the team involved in creating it, from JMS, to the actors to the VFX people and...

Why were space sci fi shows like B5 heavily stigmatized by the mainstream?

Hmmm, I mean, it's hard to ignore just how popular the BSG reboot was, and that was very squarely a space based ship how. We currently have two active Star Trek shows, with perhaps more on the way. We have The Orville, which is cute misty eyed TNG tribute. We have The Expanse, which is...

Why were space sci fi shows like B5 heavily stigmatized by the mainstream?

Completely disagree with this. SF as a whole, space based or not, is now taken seriously and has become mainstream and regarded as pretty cool. Same goes for say, tabletop gaming and RPGs, nerd culture has been fully co-opted into popular culture. I mean, look at how successful the BSG...

    Future of B5 merchandise

I should clarify, I meant lack of interest from WB's perspective because of the legal legwork required on their end and associated costs.
