Goodness... you really have such vile things taking up screen space during shows? :confused: I mean, I've seen people talk about them... but my feeble non-American brain refused to believe that this is actually done. I feel sorry for you. And for Max for having to put up with this. :D

Eh. The story was okay ... but the real reason I loved the show, and want the DVDs, is to see more of G'Kar in his informal attire. :o Couldn't care less about the CGI and effects but the make-up people did a truly brilliant job with that chest piece. :o

Re: G\'kar\'s Family The wife (or I should say a wife) is mentioned in some of the Dell books. There's one in Blood Oath and another in either Clark's Law or Betrayals... in any case, she didn't have the same name. :D But that's quite non-canon, I think. There was also a mention of a daughter...

I do wish they would though. Or at least get a better artist. The S1 and S2 covers are disgusting to look at. :rolleyes:

Re: S2 DVDs shipping\'s started Yeah, I went by the same reasoning. :) Besides, Amazon.com takes about 3 weeks of shipping at the best... so it's not I'd get them right away anyway. Besides, I'm in no big hurry to get them, I just want to have them eventually. :D

Re: S2 DVDs shipping\'s started It used to be around 10-11 days. Ever since late last year/early this year it's been at 6-7 weeks, as said in the shipping estimates. Not just based on my own experience (everything I've ordered since late last November or so) but others, too.

S2 DVDs shipping\'s started I just got a note from Amazon.ca this morning, saying that they've now shipped my S2 set. :cool: Won't get here before early June but at least they've started to ship overseas orders now.

As far as I know, all players are *basically* multiregional, they're just preset to the relevant region at the factory. With some manufacturers and some models, the preset region change is just made "harder" than others - on a lot of models, you can indeed just change the region with the remote...

I suppose that ordering the DVDs online is out of the question, too? What region is the Philippines in, anyway? 5? Hopefully you'll get them at some point though... no one should be deprived of G'Kar in all his digital glory. ;)
