I'll echo what GKE said. Jeff/Zack was an everyman among giants. He held his own amongst them, and at times they needed him to remind them of their own humanity.

The term was used at least for the Drasi, too. They looked far more reptilian than the Narns, at least to me. But, I believed it was a generic term, that could be applied to many races, but probably not the more human looking races, like the Centauri.

I think that most of us would agree with that. The point is that the writer, or show creator, shouldn't be dictated to, and told that they can't have aliens.

I think the aliens look like a cross between the traditional "greys," and the face in the famous Munch painting, "The Shout." If anyone in the US has OnDemand on their cable system, and it has BBCA, like Comcast does, I strongly recommend watching the Doctor there. I was able to watch it in HD...

I'm at work, and haven't seen it yet. Someone on the AVS forum told me that it is available in HD on Comcast OnDemand, so I hope to find it there. I do have Comcast, and BBCA. We are supposed to get BBCAHD soon. I read that Nixon looks and sounds more like LBJ... :eek:

Welcome to the board! I didn't dislike Talia as much as you, but besides that, I agree with your observations. I do think that Andrea played Talia as JMS wrote, and wanted, her to be. Certainly not an ingratiating or likable character, but a strong one.

While I agree with you, I had a different take on this encounter. In WWII films, it was fairly common to hint that the guy going off to war got a one night stand from a girl, or even a quick marriage, like it was her duty. Of course, this was conveyed subtly in those days. Here we have a role...
