To me, further is farther still, that is first something is far, then farther, then further.

That sounds about right for season 1. It was very few. I'm hoping that season 2 will be on PBS before too long. I don't know how many eps in season 2.

aajay, BBCA has run several eps at various lengths - usually, the first time, it is uncut, and the timeslot is a bit longer than an hour. Most later showings are edited down to fit into an hour. If you have Dr. Who on OnDemand, those are unedited. Up until this Xmas ep, they were also shown w/o...

In the US, they played on PBS Masterpiece Mystery. They haven't been on my local PBS channels yet. What channel are you seeing them on? I do get CBC Ontario, if they are on there. I liked the first batch!

Yeah, I think it was only a fair ep. Last year's Christmas Special was better.

Hopefully, someone who is certain will reply. To the best of my recollection, the original version was released on DVD somewhere, I think in Germany, but I'm not sure. I don't have it, but I wish I did.

That had to be a trick of some kind. Surely, all the beings inhabiting the Teselecta wouldn't commit suicide for the Doctor.

Okay, I understand what you guys are saying, but I don't buy it. I don't think that would have destroyed the continuity of time, if it wasn't the Doctor, or some other important being. Also, I would assume that the Teselecta isn't really dead, as bullets didn't kill it before, and it was...

I need to watch it again, too. But, maybe you can explain to me how a fake death of a fake Dr. Who - the Teselecta - could stop the disintegration of time? I thought it was a mater of nature/physics, that the Dr.'s death was a "fixed point in time," and had to occur, or time, as we know it...

As I love sci fi, I will check it out. But, I don't have high hopes. It's prime time commercial TV, after all... But, it will have our saurian friends... :)
