I would love to get this but unfortunately I don't have the extra funds at this time!

Is it time to go beyond the rim?

My biggest concern over this place closing down is losing touch with the members I've met here over the years. Many don't stop in often or at all any more, but it would be nice to know there would still be a way to reconnect with them somehow if they did try and come back. Some old familiar...

    RIP Jerry Doyle

That's awesome Jan. I wish that video didn't have to happen. His words towards the end of it are definitely words to live by though. It did bring a tear to my eye. Hopefully we won't have to worry about losing another cast member for a long time.

    RIP Jerry Doyle

I've been out of town but learned about this the day it came out. At first I thought it was just a spam post on Facebook, but it was not unfortunately. He was brilliant as Garibaldi and I also enjoyed his radio program on the rare occasions that I got to hear it. Hard to believe another is gone...

Ian McShane on Game of Thrones

I wish his appearance on Game of Thrones wasn't so short lived. To me he will always be Al Swearengen from Deadwood. He is a brilliant actor and that is probably what most people will remember him for.

    RIP Anton Yelchin

Yeah, that really sucks. I enjoyed his portrayal of the rebooted Chekov. He more than likely had a very promising career in front of him. I'm curious as to what they'll do to the character in future films.

    CNN at B5

That's pretty sweet. I might just have to pick it up!

    B5 Cruise

That sounds like it would be a good time. I wonder how much interest this will garner and, if so, how many people would be in on it cast-wise. I've never been on a cruise but sounds like it would be a lot of fun!

Who was the real star of the whole series?

I'd say it's definitely G'Kar and Londo. Their relationship with one another coupled with their individual growths just kind of cements their legacy throughout the course of the series. Not to mention the trials and tribulations of the Narn and Centauri peoples as a whole just kind of helps to...

    RIP Theodore Bikel

RIP. I just came here to post that myself. Another great character actor to go beyond the rim.

    RIP Aubrey Morris

I just randomly came across and saw that Aubrey Morris passed away a few days ago at the age of 89. For those of you who may not recognize the name he played Duncan in "Exogenesis".

Has There Been Any News Re. The New B5 ~2016+~ Theatrical Movie?

Reboot or not I'm really interested in seeing more B5. It's been far too long and I've been going through withdrawal for years. I don't think anything will ever top the original, as the casting was near perfect but I do think JMS will do a good job or else he wouldn't do it.

    Star Wars: Episodes VII-IX

They've already started some of the filming, although I still haven't seen nor heard anything about the plot is supposed to be: http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/filming-star-wars-movie-begun/story?id=23224243 Another thing I read is that Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) is going to be in it and has...

    Orson Welles

I honestly haven't seen many things with him but I do own and really enjoy Citizen Kane. I've listened to his radio broadcast of War of the Worlds and I can only imagine how much panic is supposedly caused to people believing that the earth was actually being invaded by aliens!

    Band of Brothers

Some more sad news: http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/09/us/band-of-brothers-veteran-dies/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 Strangely enough I just finished watching it again Friday. RIP "Wild Bill"

    Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad was a great show. I can't say I ever imagined Bruce or Jerry in those roles but that would have been interesting to see.
