A conflict with Lost is the most likely reason.

Unlike, say, mechanical devices, oxen and horses don't require spare parts, they can live off the land, provide transportation and a source of power. I'm more willing to believe cattle is valuable cargo than the glorified protein bars in the pilot.

It's silly, but I like the whole Lumati subplot. Excellent episode, one of my favourite G'Kar episodes.

For enjoyability and spectacle, the TPM fight between Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Gin and Darth Maul is the best. Emotionally, probably the final duel in ROTJ.

The style sets of others, are not our concern.
