    B5 Animated Movie

Great stuff, I've seen conflicting opinions on social media but I'm looking forward to seeing for myself next month! Should we make a dedicated The Road Home review thread? Then general discussion about TRH can stay in this thread and spoiler discussion in the review thread?

Official: Babylon 5 coming to Blu-ray in December

Hi Brett, welcome to the forum! I didn't realise that The Gathering was in widescreen on streaming. I think it is regular 4:3 on the DVD, though I admit I haven't watched it in a while's I might be mis-remembering. I do know that the master tapes for The Gathering were apparently lost so they...

Official: Babylon 5 coming to Blu-ray in December

So, with the original version of The Gathering being the one available on streaming, and now reports that the Blu-ray will have the original version but none of the other movies, I have to wonder, is there a rights issue with the TNT movies, where Warners don't want to pay TNT anything? If so...

Official: Babylon 5 coming to Blu-ray in December

Has there been an official press release from WB Home Entertainment about the release? I've seen cover art floating about on the web but it looks like the cover of the European DVD boxset (I think?). Either way, I hope that's not the cover art, it looks fan-made and it doesn't even have the...

Official: Babylon 5 coming to Blu-ray in December

News! JMS has announced that the complete Babylon 5 will be coming to Blu-ray on 5 December. He says it can be pre-ordered from today, though I haven't been able to find any links yet. I'm going to assume it's the HD versions that we've all been streaming for the past couple of years. We know...

    B5 Animated Movie

I have seen a rumour on Twitter of a blu-ray release for 5th December, could that be it? We shall wait and see!

    B5 Animated Movie

That would be late afternoon then for us in Europe. JMS confirmed on Facebook it was something B5 related, I'm guessing either the go-ahead for a new animated movie (he'd mentioned he was close to getting that from WB) or as a long shot, maybe he's writing a B5 comic? Or, it's an announcement of...

I'm now imagining that you have a closet-full of futuristic weaponry! Do you have a PPG that was used on the show?

That's really cool @LateArrival, I like the dedication! I've got Babylon Confidential but didn't realise CC had another book too. I need to one day pick up Bill Mumy's and Mira Furlan's books too. If they release the score to The Road Home, I suspect it may be digital only, which is going to be...

Something else I've collected are the CDs of Christopher Franke's score. I believe I have the full set, barring the autographed copies of Sleeping in Light. The CD-ROM contains a copy of the 'Best of Babylon 5' with one difference to the audio CD, in that it doesn't have the track from Sleeping...

I do? Oh, so I do! Sorry, I don't know where my brain is some days. I haven't arranged my cards into their respective binders yet – the big series 1, 2, SE binder is completely empty because I got the seasons 4 and 5 binders first and stuffed everything into them. The complete series binder has...

Yeah, I don't have the Profiles binder yet. Was there a binder for the final Complete Series collection too? I look out for them on eBay and pick them up when I see them cheap (they are usually really expensive for some reason). I'd like to get more of the autograph and costume cards. For the...

    B5 Animated Movie

I think whatever the genre it has to be well-written, that goes without saying. Time travel has featured in science fiction since HG Wells' The Time Machine and other writers of his era. Wells even wrote about alternate histories in his 1905 novel A Modern Utopia and in Men Like Gods in 1923...

Did somebody mention trading cards? I liked the first three sets of trading cards best, up to and including the Special Edition set (I remember getting that at Wolf 359 in Blackpool before season 4 aired in the UK, and being amazed by some of the cards showing scenes from season 4, in...

    B5 Animated Movie

I'd hate to think that no one can do time travel and alternate history stories any more just because Marvel have apparently done some. There were plenty of such stories before the Marvel movies came along, and there will be plenty more afterwards!

Very cool! As Worf said in Star Trek: Picard, swords are fun!

    B5 Animated Movie

I agree that Sheridan did sound a bit flat at times in the trailer, and I was surprised. Many of B5's actors have done voice acting before – Claudia Christian has done computer games, Bruce Boxleitner sounds very good in the Tron: Uprising animation - here's an example: . I think the problem...

They sound very cool, I'd be very interested in seeing the Excalibur! Regarding props, if money and opportunity ever allowed, I'd love a PPG and link used on set, maybe an EA uniform jacket. Sheridan's Agamemnon cap as well, though replicas were issued by the fan club so I'd be happy with one...

    B5 Animated Movie

The Road Home is currently ranking 2nd (Blu-ray) and 3rd (4K UHD) in the Blu-ray bestsellers list on Amazon UK (John Wick 4 is in 1st place, if you're wondering). That's pretty impressive and hopefully those sales figures are driving home that there is demand for new B5.

This is my B5 shelf in my cabinets, filled with the 6-inch action figures and 9-inch dolls, and some of the miniatures from the Babylon 5 Wars game. I do have the 9-inch Marcus figure elsewhere, plus the Micro Machines, trading cards, CDs, books, comics, magazines, autographs, posters, clothing...
