Movie Marathon Week

bakana

Beyond the rim
Well, Sci Fi is advertising a Week of Babylon 5 Movies as a lead in to Rangers.

All 4 prior movies, one each night starting Monday. 9:00 PM Eastern, if I read the screen right.

I'd say that's a pretty good promo.

Never start a fight, but ALWAYS finish it.

" The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate for the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise to the occasion. We can not escape history. We will be remembered, in spite of ourselves. The fiery trial through which we pass will light us down in honor or dishonor, to the last generation. We shall nobly save, or meanly lose our last best hope."

I have been waiting all month since I found that they were going to air all the B5 movies since I have seen only In the Beginning .

------------------

Okay, they're showing four (in no particular order):

In the Beginning
Third Space
River of Souls
A Call to Arms

If they added "the Gathering," they could cover all the week days up to the premiere. I wonder why they're not? Does anyone know which night isn't B5 night on SciFi? What are they showing instead?

The four movies you listed above are running Monday through Thursday evenings at 9 PM (all times ET/PT).

Friday, they're showing the usual Friday Prime stuff.

Saturday is Legend of the Rangers, at 9 PM and 11 PM.

And The Gathering shows up on Sunday afternoon at 3 PM, followed by another showing of Legend of the Rangers at 5 PM.

"Always do what you're good at," they tell me.
So I go around annoying people.

Hair splitting time:
The Gathering isn't a B5 Movie, per se.

It is the 2 hr Pilot Episode, so it makes sense not to "include" it with the movies.

That said, I'm glad they are showing it, even if it is later.

Plus, for new people, the differences in cast and makeup between Gathering and the rest of the movies might just be confusing Before they see Rangers.
After, it matters less because they are going to be Hooked!
