B5:TLT -- just the news. And we mean that.

Excellent, Shabaz, thanks! As a addendum that I think still qualifies as news, it *looks* like it may well include the sound portion of the Director's Video Blogs that he played during his spotlight (I can't listen right this minute so I'm going by the length of the .mp3 file). Also, be aware that they may well contain spoilers. I can't recall anything specific but it's possible.

Edit: Oops, Shabaz beat me to the warning.

I tried the link to the podcast, but it came up blank. Anyone know where else I can find it?
It's still part of the actual podcast, so you can go to the nycccast.com website and subscribe to the feed with your favourite podcatcher and get the panel. And the MP3 is still online and accessible in the place their RSS feed is pointing at. In the meanwhile I've send an e-mail to them to ask what's up; see the discussion thread. Which is also probably the place you should direct any further questions you have.

edit: OK, that was fast, just got a reply:
Hey Shabaz,

Thank you for your note. Indeed you are right. We unfortunately did have
to pull the post down. JMS requested that we do so, and we did,
immediately. It takes up to 24 hours sometimes for Feedburner to catch up
to changes in the blog and posts, which is why it was still up there.
Confusing. I just checked, and it's now off our feed as well.

I too am bummed. I don't like posting and then pulling down. But such is
life.

We have lots more stuff coming, so stay tuned. I hope we'll be able to give
you more good stuff that you and your friends enjoy.

Rob
In light of said request and as a courtesy to JMS, I removed the direct link in my post.

Just posted this to the newsgroup:
HD version of TLT to be released exclusively on Xbox Live Marketplace, simultaneous with DVD release.

The gamers among you have probably been hearing about the spiffy new
Xbox 360 model that was just announced, the Elite, an upgraded version
of the 360 with a HDMI port and a bigger HDD. It's a pretty nifty
piece of kit, though it does come at a price ($479.99), and doesn't
actually have some of the things that were rumoured (like the new 65nm
processor). You can find a bigger article on it at Kotaku here:
http://kotaku.com/gaming/xbox-360-elite/feature-microsoft-gets-elite-247496.php
or tinyurl version: http://tinyurl.com/3xuvv5

Anyway, within the big announcement by Microsoft of a new 360 model
there was also the slightly smaller announcement of five Video
Marketplace partners having signed new deals with Microsoft. And one
of them is WB, and their plans with Xbox Live Marketplace are of
particular interest to B5 fans:

>>Microsoft also announced deals with distribution deals with five new video Marketplace partners:

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment: They will be releasing its direct to
video movies exclusively in high definition on Xbox LIVE simultaneous
with their availability on DVD, starting with "Sublime" and later
offering "Babylon 5: The Lost Tales."<<

I know that Mira Furlan is busy with Lost and making another movie but is there a chance that she will come back to reprise her role as Delenn..I really miss her!

JMS posted a long update this morning. The part pertaining to B5: TLT: VitD is:

The B5 DVD has been fully delivered to WB along with finals on all of
the director's blogs, the interviews, and fireside chats. I'd expect
to see them online in a few weeks, one at a time.

Amazon.com now has a listing for it. No price, no pictures, no release date but you can sign up for notification when it's available and/or put it on your wish list.

Just want to make sure the site that got us the news, benefitted. I just ordered four, one for me and three gifts. ;)

There was, Antony would need to post it.

Also as far as this "news only" thread, I would submit that the final bit of news that there really can be for this DVD set has just been given --- how to buy it. :) Nothing really newsworthy now to report on. Frankly this thread can probably be "unstuck in time" :p
