does anyone know where i can find a hooded leather coat identical or similar to the one Galen wore in Crusade, or where i can find any unique leather apparal for that matter? i have tried every general search i know of but only wind up with tacky, fashion designer coats that are way off. any help is appreciated...

If you want something like that, you're probably going to have to sew it yourself, or have someone sew it for you. I've never been able to find the like in ordinary stores except for at a very well-stocked costume shop.

I own about three speciality coats, all of which I've had to sew myself after I couldn't find it: A Peacekeeper jacket modeled after Aeryn's, a reverend coat meant for winter and not just exhibition (i.e. I didn't shop at Hot Topic), and a cloak like that, made out of velvet, which I had to sew myself.

So get crackin'.

There is a company that deals with things shown on TV... digs around on the net for a few minutes... Nope. It's sorta like an As Seen On TV thing.
Otherwise Channe's post is spot on the money, do it yourself

Try asseenonscreen.com, although I'm not sure that you'll find something B5 related through them. Also look for factory outlets - they may be able to have an existing design modified for you at source. I had a standard leather trenchcoat extended to ankle length and all the extraneous epaulets, belt and so on removed at no extra cost by a factory outlet called Milano, but I'm based in the UK, so I don't know how much that'll help. Also worth trying recreationist fairs and outlets, as there are often companies who specialise in making costumes to order.

I was thinking of a compnay that appeared on one one of those morning TV shows. They have things like "The lampstand in James Bond's bed room in Live and Let die" - that sort of specific shtuff. You could contact them and ask for that specific cloak and they would source something like it.
But I can't remember the name of the company.
