Well, I\'ve seen B5LR

I just watched it. It was awful, the effects were done on ZX Spectrum and the actors couldn't act their way out of a paper bag. And I'm closing the site tommorow.

Just joking. *LOL* Oh, I'm so evil.

I will post a non-spoilers review hopefully today. But to cut a long story short, I am thinking positive thoughts. As has been said before, it's not perfect. But what pilots are? However, I certainly think it's a damn site better than the reviews online would have had you believe.

Overall grade: thumbs up.

I've said in the past, I tend to dislike ALL pilots. They can't help but be kind of rough around the edges. I think even Sci-Fi's miniseries "Dune" had its weak points. But it still broke all ratings records for the network.

Before I even launched this site, I had part of the script. And a pre-emptive warning, it's no one who frequents the board, so no one can give you a copy. And I'm not giving anyone a copy. Just in case people go requesting. I won't do it.

The script bit I did have, BTW, has been changed reasonably, so I must have had an early draft.

The cast was great.

Dylan was very... charismatic. Enie was very... charismatic. Regular users will know I'm using word substitution, as I'm too shy.

I was dreading that they someone would be bad, and I wouldn't have the guts to be honest in my review as I know most of them now. But I can say in my heart of hearts, they were great. Main cast that is. One guest star was a bit dodgy.

I must stop posting. I will save this for my review!

As I just posted, funnily enough, I was dreading that something would be bad, and I wouldn't have the guts to say it. I think I could be harsh about the story, but I would find it hard to be harsh about one of you personally. But I don't need to be harsh, honest truth. Cross my heart.

I have many thoughts to post, and some aren't so positive. But it's the overall result that I'm pleased with, so am very happy.

No, I wouldn't close this site. Even if B5LR didn't go to a series, I wouldn't close it. The community is too busy, and now I cover B5, Crusade and B5LR news. B5LR.com is here to stay.

On a Pilot note I wanted to mention a pilot that was a great pilot in my opinion. And that pilot is the one for Stargate Sg1...I really enjoyed it much better then all the first season and most of the rest..

With B5LR this just gets me more excited....Just annoying that us not living in teh USA will have to wait even longer
