Love it! The story was interesting and it was good to see Kevin Smith again. His character in this movie was similar to Ares in Hercules. It was good and sad to see him again. 
I totally love the interaction between Nero and Hale, and the thing with the ship. I was a little dissapointed with the end and as you mention that we don't know more about the race. So I hope they decide to do a continuation because I love it but was left waiting for more.
