<font size="3">News on Enid-Raye's role in the upcoming "A Guy Thing"</font>

Enid-Raye Adams (Firell in B5LR) has sent along word that she's been cast in the upcoming movie A Guy Thing.

The movie stars Jason Lee (Almost Famous, Heartbreakers) as an engaged man who wakes up from his bachelor party next to a woman, played by Julia Stiles (Save the Last Dance), whom he thinks he's slept with. He has a week to cover up the evidence, even though he's innocent of any wrongdoing, before his wedding to his soon-to-be wife, played by Selma Blair (Cruel Intentions, Legally Blonde).

In the MGM film, which has just entered pre-production, Enid-Raye will be playing the best friend and maid of honor of Selma's character.

In a funny yet scary B5 coincidence, the film is directed by Chris Koch, albeit his name is spelt a bit differently to the encounter-suited Vorlon of the same name.

Cool!

The best friend character usually gets all the good plucky comic relief lines.

Way to go, bonehead!

This was one. No.... *tsk tsk*
No. Not good.
Not supposed to mention... "one", or... THE one.
Hmmmm.
You never heard that."

And, just to be selfish here, will you finish the movie in time to still work on the series episode 1 when the series becomes a reality? (I know, I know, assuming B5LR becomes a series.)

I'm hoping this will be a film that she'll finish quickly!

In any case, Rangers will likely have to wait until jms finishes with Jeremiah in early April.

Even if "To Live and Die in Starlight" is an overnight smash hit (similar to their Dune miniseries) and JMS didn't have Jeremiah to work on, I'd think it would take months to start on a "Rangers" episode 1 (or 3, however that numbering thing works).

Good! So she could easily return for a series.

What has surprised me about "Red Dwarf, the movie" which I think is being filmed now, and also "Absolutely Fabulous, the new episodes" is how they managed to get the entire original casts to come back to these projects.

I would think that would be kind of rare.

*crosses her fingers on one hand and holds her thumb in the other for Enid-Raye*

BTW, holding your thumbs is a Swedish thing ... so hopefully you will have double the luck!
