Another excellent episode of Lost tonight! I loved Charlie's story. I felt so sorry for him that his starting using was because of his brother using and then his brother walked away from the band and got clean while Charlie remained addicted. The support Charlie got from Locke and Jack was great too; I'm glad he had them. I almost started to cry when Locke told Charlie he was proud of him.

I also loved the look that Michael's son had when Michael took charge of the cave-in when he and the other guys got to the caves. And we also had some more unspoken mysterious glances between Michael and the Korean woman (who's name damn it I still can't remember).

Who the heck hit Sayid in the head!?!? It couldn't have been Sawyer because he had to have been where he was to light his rocket. Who else is left to have done it? I wanna know damn it!! ;)

Good, good show!

Re: Lost: \"The Moth\" (Spoilers)

Yes, another great episode. I can't for the life of me think of who hit Sayid in the head. There's no way it could have been Sawyer, but next week's preview looks like it's going to be a Sawyer episode.

My guess is that it might possibly be someone new on the island, be it another survivor from another part of the plane or someone that's been there for some time.

Charlie really got a bad deal, basically switching roles with his brother.

I'm sensing a definite pattern here though. Each one of these people were dealing with some sort of problem just prior to crashing on the island. Locke getting denied his adventure because of him being unable to walk, Sun about to leave her husband, Mike suddenly becoming a father to Walt, Jack losing his father, whatever the hell it is that Kate's running from, and Jin trying to become the person his wife fell in love with again.

I wonder if this will all end up connecting in some way. Oh well, we'll see.

Re: Lost: \"The Moth\" (Spoilers)

Maybe it was the French woman on the recording that hit him over the head for some reason.

Re: Lost: \"The Moth\" (Spoilers)

Possibly. I don't know if you saw the thread, but she's supposed to be played by Mira Furlan, but it said she wouldn't appear until episode 12 or so.

Re: Lost: \"The Moth\" (Spoilers)

Yup, I saw it and I'm blitzed! :D :D :D

So, perhaps, if it was she that hit him, or perhaps another person that's with her wherever she is on the island, we'll get angst of Sayid thinking it was Sawyer until she's eventually revealed.

That would be my guess too. The previews for next week's episode makes it look like Sawyer is in trouble and is getting blamed for something. Plus, I've read somewhere that Mira isn't on until the week after next. So, Sawyer probably gets blamed for hitting Sayid next week, then after that, we get Mira.

Re: Lost: \"The Moth\" (Spoilers)

NinjaSquirrel is correct, Mira Furlan as Danielle "The French Woman" is appearing in Episode 9, so, providing there's no delay, that would be a week from Wednesday, as Wednesday's episode is 8.

Another great episode. I agree, everyone is facing their biggest challenges, which came to a head prior to getting on the plane, and are being played out on the island. The woman who drowned in White Rabbit, probably was also facing up to her biggest challenge, and didn't beat it, and that's why she ended drowning, instead of growing from the experience.

In the future, you may want to avoid spoiling episodes that have yet to air. I'm not upset, but I am trying to avoid Lost spoilers, as I am enjoying watching the show unfold, and I'd prefer to speculate in spoiler-free environments.

To be honest, my money is on Locke. He's creepy.

Re: Lost: \"The Moth\" (Spoilers)

Sorry, I thought Mira's appearance was public knowledge per this thread in B5 personnel.

Re: Lost: \"The Moth\" (Spoilers)

Just for clarification: when someone puts "spoilers" in the title, isn't it assumed anything can be discussed? Anything that has been seen or read?

Re: Lost: \"The Moth\" (Spoilers)

My understanding would be that anything that's happened in the show up to and including the episode named would be free to discuss, but things that haven't happened as of the end of that episode are still considered spoilery.

Re: Lost: \"The Moth\" (Spoilers)

The Moth one was the first one I wasn't overly happy with. It's okay, still good. But it was more blatant than previous episodes. A lot of the plot points were so obvious, and I could see them coming. I was saying how he'll no dobut have to dig out of the ground, and then it happened. And I said he'll burn the drugs, then it happened. I don't like it to be quite so predictable.

Walkabout was an episode, for example, that took me by surprise each step of the way.

I didn't know the French Woman was going to be in it, so some spoiler space would have been nice. But it is cool that it'll be Mira.

I didn't even know about that. This is part of the reason why it's hard to run a site, no one actually submits news! Not whining or anything, don't want to make an issue. But you know, it's interesting news!

If you'd have read the B5 personnel forum, you'd see it there twice. :p
