Just saw season finale of Jeremiah.. I am in awe

I just watched the last three episodes of the seconds season, and I am still recovering.

JMS has really outdone himself, I never saw it coming.
I was brought to the edge of my seat, and gently let down.
The conclusion to the whole Daniel arc was very bitter and intense, but was concluded with an anti-climactic twist.
The entire premise of the show has also just changed, and I can't begin to imagine where it will go next season.

What are some of your thoughts on this?

Aren't they calling the second half of Season 2, Season 3? Kinda the same thing Scifi Channel pulled with Farscape? Renewed it for a 4th and 5th season, filmed Season 4, chopped off some episodes and called them Season 5.

Ah...well, not in the US on Showtime and no official word that anyone has or is going to pick it up. And I'm not sure I would really want to see S3 without JMS involved...since god only knows what they'll do to it without him.

Finally got around to picking up S1 of Jeremiah on DVD, and the wife and I have been avidly reminding ourselves how much we love this show.

I can only hope and pray that either Sky get their act together and show S2 some time soon, or that a DVD release is forthcoming ...

I'm kind of disappointed and i'm sorry to say that.
Not that I wanted to see war but...I wanted to see THE war.
The whole thing had been built since mid of the season.
Not to mention how easily Jeremiah finds Simms once he decides to. Was not supposed to have guards all around the forest watching Simms tossing papers on the river thinking about life and Daniel?
After all he was like a General to them.
Didn't like the way Jeremiah easily kills him.

Was to brief. The fight scene should've been more dramatic.
And that dinner scene with Marcus and that Erin...
What in the hell that means?
Veeeeery boring.

Make no mistake. The series was great, I loved it but the last episode was really boring and anti-climactic.
I'll be praying for season 3 but I really don't believe it'll happens without JMS and all this "Showtime Way of Interrupting Series without Any Explanation".
It just doesn't look too promising.
