The new B5TV.COM is here. We've replaced our 16 year old software with flashy new XenForo install. Registration is open again. Password resets will work again. More info here.
Since the OP is interested in B5 (and not spinoffs) will address that.
Feature film length?
I'd probably like to see something that has to do with the Battle of the Line. A great springboard for future films (or a series spinoff). And it can provide a pretty self-contained story, imho. Two...
I, for one, am looking forward to seeing what the Babylon 5 universe can look like. On the big screen. With today's technology. I do think original B5 effects with space battles were so amazing, but the notion of seeing a Narn destroyer slowly inching its way across the screen in a giant...
GKE, I think that's great you gave it another shot. I remember quitting the first time in the middle of the prologue. I don't know why, but I did.
Then I started again, got past the prologue and into that first (Bran's) POV and that's all she wrote. :)
Who are your favorite characters so...
Mr. Allu and I enjoyed the heck out of Battle for LA. I went in thinking, "okay, modern version of Independence Day mixed with District 9 aliens" and that's pretty much what I felt we got.
What I enjoyed about it was that they didn't feel the need to over-explain everything. We stuck in the...
I really enjoyed Caprica. Though it does seem to suffer from some of the same issues we saw in BSG (too much time spent dancing AROUND the interesting conflict and not enough time spent pursuing that conflict to its resolution).
I thought Eric Stoltz and Esai Morales were really the highlights...
Yeah, I just saw a trailer with her in it. Score! She's hawt. :) I hope this doesn't mean she's leaving House, though I haven't watched any of last season, so maybe she already has. (sniff)
Hmmmm, I want to get excited about it, but not sure. Looks purty, though.

(sorry for the perez hilton link, but that's the only place I could find it on a quick glance)
I think my biggest issue with the show is that it was too "trendy" and "look at me, I'm going to throw whiz-bang insults and come-backs all . . . the . . . time . . ." Just felt too cheeky for me. Maybe my tastes have changed now. No idea. I'll get into it as soon as I get caught up on Dexter.
I have season 1 ready to watch. I got through 3 episodes and am having a hard time picking it up again. I have heard that you just have to grin and bear it through season 1 and that it gets better as it goes.
Yeah, you might as well give up on all television. Now. Period. Because it gets kind of old to constantly hear how nothing else is as good as B5. We all know that or we wouldn't be here. :) But, some of us actually enjoy other shows, even if they are not exactly up to par on all levels.
